Old South sits directly beside the Virginia Creeper Trail, one of Southwest Virginia’s most well-known outdoor corridors. This 22-mile trail stretches from Whitetop Station to downtown Abingdon and draws visitors year-round for cycling, walking, jogging, photography, wildlife viewing, and family outings.
Being this close to the trail gives residents the freedom to step outdoors without planning a trip. Morning walks, weekend bike rides, and sunset views become part of daily life. Very few subdivisions in the region offer this caliber of access.
